1.00pm Talib is professional and skilled musician and singer and has been performing since he was 15 years old, Through his performance and music Talib endeavours to share and educate about the Kurdish struggle for an Independent State and experience."

 

1.30pm Mostly Madrigals are a group of friends, some of whom have been singing together for over sixteen years. They sing Elizabethan airs as well as a variety of other music. They perform at concerts, weddings and charity events and have strong links with a choir from Pesaro in Italy and have exchanged visits with them in recent years.

 

2.00pm Tai Chi with Charles and Tina Tsang. Experience the ancient Chinese form of recreation for all ages and abilities, learning the movements, which are based on natural principles, is a creative process benefiting both mental and physical well-being 07970346680

 

3.00pm The Helen Maher Ensemble – Accordion, Jazz guitar and flute play 1930’s Gypsy Jazz meets Andrew’s sister’s cabaret

 

4.00pm Caustic Widows are a performance company dedicated exploring the relationship between the spectator and performer

The Travelling Garden – tells the magical adventure of William Roscoe

with shadow puppetry, comic storytelling and song

  

5.00pm UrbanBeach Peace Choir- A funkadelic peace choir, singing songs from across the globe; the charts; and spiritual traditions - the lot! Sung with the purpose to uplift ourselves, others and our communities.

5.15pm Children’s performances created specially for this event and during workshops during the day

5.30pm Dominic – Guitar & voice

 6.00pm Caustic Widows perform “Little Diva’s” The Opera meets Marylyn Monroe & Freddy Mercury!

 

6.30pm Sharlene Squire – Sings Classics and choral hip hop

 

7.00pm Angstrom plays intergalactic-electric-piano, eirie-hand-drums and subatomic-bass creating a symphonic soundscape before your very ears.

 

8.00pm Martin & Cathy- Guitar & Clarinet

9.00pm Claire Campbell leads a candle lit labyrinth walk to close the event

2-3pm   ‘Get into Reading                                                                        The Reader Organisation runs more than seventy reading groups across Merseyside and develops reading for pleasure.. This taster session offers a chance to experience a ‘Get Into Reading’ group and learn more about the project.www.thereader.co.uk

3-4pm  A Journey into the Power of Mantra
In this workshop we will sing/chant Sanskrit mantras together, using a variety of simple techniques. The session is suitable for everyone Led by experienced Sivananda Bhakti Yogini - Lisaji.                                   

4-5pm Drama Workshop with Helen

5-6pm “Visibly Gorgeous “celebrating your identity and image through photography. This is a “- using photography to explore how we see ourselves and how others see us. Come and get loved up, affirmed, celebrate all the beauty that you are and go away with a goddess like photo image of yourself to challenge how you view yourself.  (Woman only)

3.30pm Philosophy in the Park                                                 Philosophy In Pubs (PIPs) is a grass root community philosophy group. Its aims are to create spaces where people can express and discuss their ideas and thoughts, and to learn from each other in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. No academic or formal background is required just a passion for philosophy and wonder The PIPs workshop will take the form of a Community of Enquiry, a method that encourages the participation of every one involved.  4pm The Foolish Rouges -Circus skills workshop

The art of juggling and object manipulation has been practiced world wide for Millenia, from court jesters to street entertainers. A wonderful way to relax and hone hand to eye coordination, that contrary to popular belief is easier to achieve than one might expect.

4pm  Falun Dafa also known as Falun Gong
Falun Gong is a simple practice of five exercises and the universal principles of being true, good and enduring. It is an ancient qigong way adapted by Li Hongzhi to accommodate modern lifestyles. You will be able to try the exercises which are performed to music. In 1999 there were one hundred million people practicing in China. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) could not comprehend it and Jiang Zhemin, the leader of the CCP at that time, began a merciless persecution which continues to this day.
