SuperLambBanana firstcame to Liverpool in 1998 as part of
the Trans-Pennine Art project. Taro Chiezo's sculpture was originally sited
in Williamson Square where it soon became the target of vandalism and
graffiti. After temporary installations at the Pier Head and Spike Island it
was permanently sited in its current home in Wapping. |
| The sculpture is close to the Yellow Submarine in Chavasse Park the two sculptures provide a colourful accompaniment to the stunning architecture of the Liverpool waterfront. |
