US LOT

Like dinosaurs, the evolution of humans has been an interesting one, but at no time did the two ever meet. In fact, the earliest human-like creatures first appeared on earth about 64 million years after the dinosaurs had all disappeared.

It is often though that humans evolved from apes. This is not technically true, although it is believed that chimpanzees, gorillas and ourselves do share a common ancestor.
