Date Consistency	The assurance that the value in a table image you are viewing or co-editing actually exist together in the at one time and are consistent with other users' images of the table
Date Integrity	The assurance that the values in a table are protected from corruption
Database	An organised as rows, or records, of information, divided into separate columns, or fields.
Database Object	Tables, queries, forms, reports, macros and modules.
Datasheet	Data from a table, form, or query displayed in a row-and-column format.
Data Field	A field that can contain only dates.
DBMS	Database management system.
Decimal Separator	In a number, the character (.or , depending on format) that separates whole digits from decimal digits.
Default	A  standard setting used when no other is specified.
Descending Order	When you sort records in descending order, alphanumeric values are arranged from Z=>A, numerical values from high to low, and date values from latest to earliest.
Design View	A window in which you design tables, queries, forms and reports.
Desktop	The Desktop is what you see on your computer screen when you start Microsoft Window in its normal view. You will see the start button and the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen and  a number of shortcut icons in the middle of the screen.
Dialog Box	A window that display available options when you choose a command.
Disabled Field	A field that appears dimmed on a form, can't be tabbed to and won't respond to typing or clicking.
